IAFL
ALLSTARS v CHILTERN CHEETAHS
Saturday
30th October 2004
ALSAA
Sports Grounds, Dublin Airport - 4pm kick-off.

Ireland
(IAFL Allstars) will play British League
side, Chiltern Cheetahs in a challenge game
on Saturday 30th October at the ALSAA Sports
Ground, Dublin Airport. Coach Phil DeMonte
will use this game and the 2 weekend training
camps in October to work further on the
team's gameplan. It is expected that the
IAFL Allstars will have the bulk of the
leagues players at their disposal as the
game is being played outside the league
season.
The
Chiltern Cheetahs are expected to provide
the Allstars with a competitive game. Unlike
the two previous games which matched the
Allstars up against elite squads, the Chiltern
game is expected to be more competitive
with the Irish being the favourites to win.
The Chiltern Cheetahs are one of the rising
stars of the British Senior League having
posted a 12-1 record in BSL Division 2.
As a result, it is expected that they will
be playing in BSL Division 1 next season
and the game against the Allstars will provide
them with an opportunity to play against
tough opposition as they prepare to take
on teams such as the PA Knights and London
Os in 2005.
The
game will kick-off at 4pm on the rugby pitch
at ALSAA Sports Grounds, Dublin Airport.
