Action from the 2004 Flag Football Season.

The revamped Irish Flag Football Association has scheduled its first flag football tournament of the 2005/6 season. It will take place at the ALSAA Sports Grounds at Dublin Airport. Players from all over the country will be taking part and for the first time ever, Ireland will have a substantial junior flag football competition (10-16 year olds). Around 100 youngsters from around the country will participate in their first ever tournament. For some of the teams, it will be their first experience of competitive flag football. Flag football is a limited contact form of american football that appeals to youth players taking up the sport for the first time and adults who want to play a recreational form of the sport.

JUNIOR TEAMS:

Belfast Bulls, Carrickfergus Knights, Craigavon Blue Titans, Craigavon Silver Titans, Cork Admirals, Cork Predators, Dublin Rebels, Dublin Dragons and North Dublin Marshals.

SENIOR TEAMS:

Dublin Rebels, Belfast Bulls, Carrickfergus Knights, Cork Admirals, Cork Predators, Craigavon Panthers & North Dublin Marshals.

The Junior tournament will take place from 11am - 2pm and the Senior from 2pm - 4pm.
