Shamrock Bowl XXI Officials

Referee: Dennis Desmond

Side Judge: Tony Rivers

Dennis Desmond, originally from Boston Massachusetts, is the crew chief and Referee for Shamrock Bowl XXI. This is his second year officiating in the IAFL and he is also on the European Federation list. Dennis is currently the most experienced official on the IAFL roster having spent 22 years officiating NCAA College Football in the United States including a number of play-off and Bowl games. Dennis joined the Irish American Football Officials Association in 2006 when his work career took him to Dublin. This will be Dennis' first Shamrock Bowl as Referee. All of the officials for the game have officiated in multiple Shamrock Bowls and the group includes 3 who are currently on the European Federation list for International games. This years crew is the most experenced ever to officiate a Shamrock Bowl with a total of 35 Bowl appearances between them.
