SHAMROCK BOWL XVII - GREYSTONES RFC - SUNDAY 10TH AUGUST 2PM.

Here are the Shamrock Bowl details submitted by the Shamrock Bowl Committee.


Location: Greystones Rugby Club - Main Pitch

Date: August 10th 2003

KO: 14:00Hrs

After further discussions with the President of Greystones Rugby Club (GRC) in regards to the hosting of the 2003 Shamrock Bowl the Dublin Rebels in conjunction with the IAFL have been granted permission for the use of the main pitch in GRC. After lengthen discussions we have been given full permission for the details events listed below:

§ Full pitch markings to include sideline numbers, hash markings and end zone graphics for potential sponsors.
§ Pitch marked to exact size of the IAFL requirements to include the moving of already existing goal posts for use on the day.
§ Full VIP and league players access to their 277 seater viewing stand.
§ Full use of the changing rooms and shower facilities.
§ Access to the bar for the duration of the day.

Additional bonuses for use of this facility include:

§ Ample car parking space
§ Additional viewing standing for 250+
§ Public transport within walking distance, Dublin bus route 84 stops outside the grounds and local DART station is only ¾ mile walk.
§ Well know location for general public to find.

The Dublin Rebels, have additional value we can bring to this years Shamrock Bowl Final which include:

§ Full television coverage by 2/3 camera positions that will edited and broadcast on TV at a later date.
§ Family attractions to include bouncy castles, barbecue, face painting etc;
§ Marketing with local Dublin based radio stations and possible promo activity from them on the day.
§ Marketing activities in the Irish Independent, Dublin Daily and The Star in the week leading upto the final.


§ Support and backing from NFL Europe and possible use of pro American Football posts for use on the field. (TBC)


We will also be inviting the American Ambassador and send out over 300 invites to American based companies in Dublin to help promote the day.
