Head Coach Ken Farrell now has the difficult task of chosing the final squad of 12 players who will represent Ireland at the European Championships in Italy in September.
The EFAF 2013 European Championships are due to take place in Pesaro, Italy from 22-24th September. The tournament line-up is as follows:
Ireland last entered a team in 2009 when it hosted the Championships in Belfast. Italy has good memories for Irish flag football – the Irish Junior squad finished 2nd in the 2010 Junior European Championships, which was the last time a major flag tournament was hosted by the Italian Federation.
