Irish President re-elected to EFAF Board

Mr. Greg Loughran, President of the Irish American Football Association was elected to the Board of the European Federation of American Football for a second term at the EFAF General Assembly in Frankfurt last weekend.

Mr. Loughran will be the Director of Flag Football on the new Board which includes the following members:

Robert Huber (President), Roope Noronen, Michael Daum, Enrique de Castro, Michael Eschlbock, Eugene Checkov and Pillan Pass.

Three new countries – Luxembourg, Turkey & Belarus – received full membership of EFAF, which now has Federations representing 30 European countries on board. The EFAF GA has hosted by Frankfurt City Council in Germany over the weekend of 12-14 March.

Among the intitiatives announced was  a deal between EFAF and Eurosport to have European American football games broadcast on the Eurosport network, which is available in 59 countries across Europe an Asia.
